We laid a new structural deck over the roof joists, framed and trimmed the opening for the roof lantern, and built the upstand kerb before applying the waterproof roof covering with neat edge trims.
Inside, the lantern opening is finished with a crisp plastered reveal and LED strip lighting, bringing daylight deep into the room below.
